Synopsis

Avto, a public servant, lives in a strictly disciplined reality. Daily life is connected to the old shoes of his deceased father, Edisher — the last material connection. Cleanliness and perfection become a form of memory. A sudden stain disrupts the order and causes internal rupture. Attempts at restoration worsen the condition and ultimately lead to complete loss. Avto returns to the abandoned workshop — a space filled with memory and silence. Craft becomes a process that changes the attitude toward the object. Preservation of the past loses its original meaning. A new direction is formed, connected to action and professional choice. Avto leaves his old life and becomes a cobbler.
