Synopsis

In the heart of Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest district, a small taverna clings to its soul as one of the last bastions of "Fado Vadio" (Stray Fado) — a special fado tradition where the voices of everyday people sing their hearts out and transform all their pain into something timeless and beautiful. Here, in this narrow, timeworn space, the bittersweet essence of saudade unfolds: the ache for what is lost, the longing for what will never return.
