Synopsis
The film is a tool to open up the creator’s source of inspiration. Where does Romeo Meilqyan find his colors and shapes?
Romeo lives in Berd: a countryside city near the border. Being surrounded by the serene nature he finds himself making an art using the complete opposite. Old and abandoned factories that could bring something, rusty and misshaped metals are the current inspiration for his paintings and sculptures. Before he was explosive, tried to finish the paintings quicker but after the war his approach changed. Romeo is not afraid to spend a month on one painting yet Romeo is afraid of war: the only times when he wasn’t and wont create.
“I used to paint crowds, now buildings, after maybe nature. What will I paint after that?- that’s what I’m afraid of” - says Rome, confused.
